Adopt a Dolphin for Christmas
Adopting an animal for a child at Christmas is a fabulous way to bring them closer to animals and wildlife, whilst also supporting a charity.
Our adoption scheme has been awarded Best Adoption Scheme by the BBC due to its educational aspect. The adoption pack contains fun but great learning materials and the monthly newsletters are full of challenging and educational content. They are very popular with teachers and home-educators and the great thing about our scheme is that the dolphins available are all REAL, WILD and can be visited by using your unique Adopters Boat Voucher!
At only £3.50 per month your Adopter can contact us directly and if you visit us during the summer in Newquay, West Wales we will give you your very own guided tour of our Visitors Centre and office and we will explain how we monitor the bottlenose gang and how we continuously work to protect them.
Sea Watch Foundation works tirelessly to monitor cetaceans all around the UK, and has managed to put two very important Special Areas of Conservation in place in Cardigan Bay, which is where the semi-resident pod lives and has their calves.
So, you now need to decide if you want to adopt a male or female bottlenose dolphin. Our females, Berry and Ghost, have both had a few calves and the males available are older and hang about closer to home compared to youngsters who tend to want to venture out in to the big wide sea, meaning we don’t see them so often.
So, what are you waiting for! Adopt a Dolphin for your little eco-warrior and let us inspire them with the wonderful world of oceans and dolphins!
